an evening of music, poetry and dance in February, 2002 at the Banning's
Landing Community Center.

The Harry Bridges
Institute was proud to present ILWU Local 23 member Brother Willie Adams
as keynote speaker for this event. Adams is Producer of a new and exciting
film, "Hughes Dream Harlem." Additional funding is needed for this
project and interested parties are asked to contact the Institute for details
on how you can help.

Screenings
The film is being made with Jamal Johnson as Director and Brother
Willie Adams as Producer. Interest in screening the work has been expressed
by such prestigious venues as the Sundance Festival in Utah, the Pan African
Theater in Los Angeles and the cable TV History Channel. AT & T Broadband
will present the program on Channel 10 locally, for the communities of Wilmington,
San Pedro, Lomita, Harbor City and Harbor Gateway. Check local listings for
air times.
